Country-wise index of all clubs which have qualified for the 2001 CAF Club Cups

Criteria for entry are the 2001 champions and generally as follows:

Champions League (CL)
2000 Champion: Hearts of Oak (Ghana)

Winner of major League Championship

Cup Winners Cup (CWC)
2000 Champion: Zamalek (Egypt)

Winner of major knockout Cup - the runner-up qualifies in the event that the winner is also the League Champion

CAF Cup (CAF)
2000 Champion: JS Kabylie (Algeria)

Runner-up of major League Championship - the "next best" team (as determined by the local FA) qualifies in the event that the runner-up is also the Cup champion


Non-entrants in any competition:
Benin, Djibouti, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritania, Mauritius, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Togo
